Sturgill Simpson's authenticity stands out like an island of hope in a sea of tacky.

Bonafide mountain hillbilly soul, as pure as you are going to find anywhere. All it takes is one listen to FINALLY understand
At once both beautiful and haunting, the chilling power of Lucette's gentle voice is unwavering and undeniable.

Although young, it is obvious to all those who listen to her that Lucette is an old and doggedly romantic soul. Full of emotion, her performances take audiences back to the days when artists such as Neil Young, Emmylou Harris, and Loretta Lynn dominated the airwaves.

Her single "Bobby Reid" was captured in just one take, capturing the raw and melancholy fluctuations of her effortless and mysterious sound.

Working with acclaimed producer Dave Cobb (Secret Sisters, Jamey Johnson, Waylon Jennings) Lucette wrote and recorded her self-titled album —with an expected release date of June 2014—in under a month.

In January 2012, Lucette joined The Secret Sisters on a tour of the UK, playing venues such as London's Union Chapel. "She has a sultry, laid back way of singing that draws you into the song even more, well worth a listen." -Milky Tea Kid, on the Union Chapel show.
