FILTHY STILL
FILTHY STILL
Filthy Still started as a solo act on the streets of Providence, Rhode Island by frontman Jesse Roderick in the year 2008. After a few solo tours of mostly house partys and basement shows, Filthy Still was brought to a whole new level when drummer Jeremy Garland, banjo player Matt Olson and bassist Mike Walker all joined the band. On July 13th, 2010, they played there first "official" show as a full band with The Goddamn Gallows at Club Hell in Providence. Eventually, Artie Elmer joined the band playing his own style of 2 string washtub bass. they continued to play small clubs all over the Northeast and quickly started to gain recognition for there unique "Americana Punk" sound. After playing the 2010 Coney Island Rockabilly Fesival, they were offered an 8-week tour with Charlotte, NC's Hick'ry Hawkin's & The Panty Sniffers, an offer they could not pass down.

On December 12th, 2010, washboard player, backing vocalist, and Brother, Dylan Wolk, unexpectedly passed away in his sleep after the band played a show in there hometown of Providence. His untimely death nearly put the band to rest. After a couple months of not playing, the band decided to stay together and come back stronger than ever, in honor of Dylan. His spirit will forever be carried on thoughout the band, and his voice and screams can be heard on numerous tracks of there debut album, "All Bottled Up" which will be released in the spring of 2011.

On February 22nd, 2011, Filthy Still set out for there first tour with friends Hick'ry Hawkin's & The Panty Sniffers. 8 weeks on the road. The tour started out all around the Northeast with a rough start and ended down in South Florida 2 months later, and ended up being very successful. They have continued to tour almost non stop for there first year as a band and they will be playing on the Coney Island Cockabilly Road Show and traveling cross country starting in September of 2011. CARRIE NATION & THE SPEAKEASY
CARRIE NATION & THE SPEAKEASY
Carrie Nation & the Speakeasy was formed in the Spring of 2007 at a party on 17th & Hillside in Wichita, KS. The 5-piece, including guitars, harmonica, bass, trombone, mandolin, banjo, and washboard has been playing their distinctive and aggressive blend of country, blues, dixieland, and bluegrass with various members around Kansas consistently for the past 2 years. Shows, though, had to be balanced with the running of a modern day speakeasy in the basement of an unmentioned bandmembers house. Bringing an energetic and original act to any bar, restaurant, basement, or park they play, CNS has been winning ears and hearts alike with their straight-forward, face-melting ungrass songs, toe-tappin country tunes, and their own midwest take on the snappy sounds of New Orleans. Always creating a good-time, drink 'em down atmoshpere, Carrie Nation & the Speakeasy bring with them an era-defying sound unlike any other, and an earnest understanding of what entertainment really is!

TRAILER QUEEN
Trailer Queen is a Classic Country/Honky Tonk band based in Phoenix, Arizona, founded by singer/songwriter Brea Burns. Backed by some of the best Classic Country and Rockabilly musicians the city has to offer, Trailer Queen has become a prominent force in the Arizona Country music scene.

Originally hailing from Southern California, music was a part of Brea's life from the start. Her father was a 35 year veteran in the record label industry, and her mother a songwriter and musician, giving Brea a unique perspective of both the business and creative side of music. The family moved to Nashville, Tennessee when she was 14, and it is there that the rich history of Country Music began to shape the direction she would go with her own songwriting and performing. Brea's sound is reminiscent of Country greats such as Loretta Lynn, George Jones, Wanda Jackson, and the like; yet presented in way that is accessible and exciting to the modern listener.

Currently residing in Phoenix, Arizona, Brea and her band Trailer Queen have had the honor of opening for some of today's genuine Country artists; including as Dale Watson, Wayne Hancock, and Ray Lawrence Jr, among others. Check the 'Shows' section for local and national performance dates!
