AUGUST MANLEY
AUGUST MANLEY
Tacoma, Washington native, August Manley, spent his childhood in the rural outreaches near his Grandfather's farm in the Pacific Northwest. Being raised on country music in the mid seventies laid the perfect foundation for what would later become the Nation's premier Waylon Jennings tribute. Since 2005, August Manley has been bringing the finest moments of country music back to Waylon's vast number of fans, as well as providing thousands of newcomers to Waylon's music the opportunity to see, feel, and take in this special brand of country music in its purest form, LIVE. Currently based out of Phoenix, Arizona, August Manley continues to strive for his ultimate goal: keeping Waylon's music in front of live audiences around the world.
BAREFOOT & PREGNANT
BAREFOOT & PREGNANT
Barefoot and Pregnant was born from a desire to add a female voice to the famous, drunken and mostly irreverent/acoustic gospel brunch meetings of the Church of the Holy Cocktail and the Latter Day Drinkers.

From a primordial stew of cheesy-grits, country ham and bloody marys came a little gospel band which came to be known as Sister Chastity and the F***-Me-Nots. Many sinners have since been saved by their girl-power harmonies. Thanks to Sister DJ Dana and her Valley Fever country music nights at the Yucca Tap Room, the group expanded their line up, as well as their repertoire, adding 50s and 60s lady country standards and other songs of love gone way wrong.

In an attempt to be somewhat less obscene, they acquired the Barefoot and Pregnant moniker for non-gospel brunch settings.

Multi-part harmonies continue to be the driving force for Barefoot and Pregnant, with accordion, ukulele, upright bass, washboard, snare and guitar completing their unique sound.
