Wyatt Lowe
Wyatt Lowe
Wyatt "Sodapop" Lowe was born and raised into the blues at Chappy's Roadhouse, his family's BBQ and Blues restaurant in Temecula, California. "Sodapop" would stand at the edge of the stage and watch the best regional Southern California blues players perform. The next day, he would be found at home in front of the mirror, harp in one hand and his play guitar in the other workin' it out. At the age of 8, he began guitar lessons and found his true musical passion in the blues. Now at the age of 15, Wyatt is currently the front man for Wyatt Lowe & the Youngbloods; an all youth blues trio, rockin' the Southern California blues scene. They have just recently returned from the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN, representing San Diego in the Youth Showcase, playing in some of the most famous blues clubs in the country (Wet Willies, Hard Rock, BB Kings Blues Club). Wyatt Lowe & the Youngbloods' self-entitled EP has received worldwide airplay on Sam Diego's My 1079 FM, Music on The Couch with Vinny Marini, and Blues Lovers Guides' Jukebox.

Wyatt has opened for and shared stages with some of the industry's top artists including Coco Montoya, Walter Trout, Kim Wilson (The Fabulous Thunderbirds), Scott Blinn (Mississippi Mudsharks/Black Market III) and Anson Funderburgh (Legendary Blues Guitarist). Wyatt's influences include Brian Setzer, Eddie Cochran, Gene Vincent, Duane Eddy, Freddie King, Jimmie Vaughan, Tom Waits, and Screamin' Jay Hawkins. His style and tone is a cross over between traditional rockabilly, blues and roots giving his music a punch. His age may be deceiving, but there is no denying the fact that Wyatt Lowe is playing diversely and dynamically, and is keeping the rockabilly/blues/roots music alive!
